The Canton Professional Educators' Association invites you to join them at the Memorial Civic Center for a moderated town hall event featuring gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton.

"As a kid, public schools saved my life.

So I know exactly why we owe it to every child in Ohio to ensure we’re providing them with the best possible education. I’m proud of the fact that Ohio is one of the states that invented public schools, but in recent decades, reckless privatization schemes and special interest giveaways have led to worse outcomes for our students and a plummeting overall ranking.

As Governor, I will restore public school funding to a constitutional level, get control of the opaque private school voucher system with runaway costs, and use those savings to invest in students, teachers and proven best practices to make Ohio a national leader in education once again.

Our kids deserve nothing less." - Amy Acton
