A capacity crowd of attendees awaits the beginning of the ORTA 60th Anniversary Program.
One could walk or ride by golf cart to the Village from the museum.
Speaker Renee Alley imparts interesting information about McGuffey Readers.
The alumni band played top-tapping music during lunch. Songs in tribute to all branches of military service as well as many other well-known songs kept the attention of the diners. Veterans were recognized.
Author & 1997 National Teacher of the Year, Sharon Draper, was well received by the audience.
Attendees arrive outside the Village Hotel to visit exhibits. Lunch was provided by Schmidt's inside a tent adjoining this building.
Ohio Representative Jon Peterson of Delaware reads one of several commendations awarded to ORTA for its 60 years of service. ORTA President Don Bright served as Master of Ceremonies.
